Paul Silcock
Director and Principal Consultant
Paul Silcock (MA (Hons) MRICS, FAAV, CEnv, AIEMA) is a rural practice Chartered Surveyor and Chartered Environmentalist with 20 years’ public and private sector experience in farm and estate business management, rural environment consultancy, and policy and programme work. He is also a qualified agricultural valuer.
Paul has special expertise in the interaction between agriculture and the environment at policy, programme and practical levels and has a particular interest in identifying and realising economic and environmental ‘win-wins’. He worked for English Nature for 6 years as regional land agent and corporate project manager, and subsequently led the countryside and rural economy consultancy at GFA-RACE at the Royal Agricultural College for 3 years. He has also worked for Strutt & Parker and Butler Sherborn chartered surveyors.
Paul has wide experience of managing projects for clients in the private, public and voluntary sectors and has been involved with projects across the UK and elsewhere in Europe.
Paul is a Director of Cumulus Consultants Limited which he co-founded in 2004.
