Conservation Grazing
Conservation grazing projects aim to reverse the decline in habitat fragmentation and the loss of appropriate grazing livestock. We are committed to helping landowners and conservation organisations assess and develop suitable grazing systems that can deliver site objectives and reach out to others.
We undertake farm reviews including strategic analysis, business planning and policy development, focusing on conservation objectives and practical agricultural advice. We carry out feasibility studies looking at business options, income and expenditure predictions, gross margin, profit calculations and cost-benefit.
It is crucial to find the right grazier for conservation sites and to work in partnership with them. By utilising our Green Land Agency service we can offer grazier recruitment, agreement development and support.
Where projects have scope for value added meat marketing we can undertake market research including consumer and trend analysis, competitor survey, and develop a suitable marketing initiative and brand.
