REG 1 to 1: Farm Business Advice
REG 1 to 1 is a 70% funded scheme providing individual consultancy of up to one day including a site visit. An adviser will meet with you to review your current position and discuss your business needs and aspirations. Following the visit they will develop a plan of practical activities that will help you get the most from your farm business. You can then decide how, when and if you implement the recommendations. Further business advice may be offered.
REG 1 to 1 consultancy will review business needs, covering just about any aspect of farming including, but not limited to:
- improving economic activity
- succession planning
- accessing new markets
- diversification/innovation options
- management and financial issues
- environmental opportunities
- best practice
Any advice given will be individually tailored to your needs. The service does not take a ‘one size fits all’ approach.
Accessing advice
To be eligible for 70% REG 1:1 funding you should:
- have an agricultural farm holding number
- derive the majority of your income from agriculture
- be in the South West region of England
